Provided to over 8,000 individuals a year. Families seek help due to a temporary crisis because of a job loss, theft of resources, illness, or other short-term crises. Picture ID, and a current utility bill for proof of address are required.  

Supplemental Food

Provided on a monthly basis to approximately 90 households. These persons are over retirement age or disabled on a low fixed-income.

Financial Aid

Assistance in paying utility bills is available by appointment. Currently only TXU electric, Fort Worth Water and Gas, and Benbrook Water and Gas. No rent assistance.

School Supplies and Uniform Shirts

Provided for children through neighborhood schools and distributed by counselors and teachers.

Holiday Assistance

Holiday Meals are available during November or December.

Local Transportation

Assistance in the form of local public transportation bus passes for employment travel and confirmed medical needs.   Gasoline vouchers are available for a confirmed job. Picture ID, current utility bill for proof of address and current pay check stub for proof of employment are required.
